Gratitude and Cancellation Policy
I am honored to offer bodywork to you. I keep my rates low and my time generous. I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In my desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
24 hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give 24 hours advance notice you may be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment. Clients who consistently cancel short notice will no longer be scheduled.
No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They may be charged for their “missed” appointment. Clients who consistently no-show will no longer be scheduled. As a courtesy I attempt to remind you of your appointment the day prior but if you do not hear from me you are still responsible to arrive on time.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive I will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the price of the “full” session. In the spirit of generosity please arrive 10 minutes early for your massage.

Sickness:
Massage and bodywork is not appropriate for infectious or contagious illness. This includes colds. Please cancel your appointment as soon as you are aware of an infectious or contagious condition. If you are coughing or have dripping sinus, it is best to cancel the day before your appointment. Hand washing and hand sanitizer use is required before and after the massage session. I wear a mask and may request you to do the same. Let's strive to be healthy together.
